What should I look for when hiring a painting contractor?
The best thing to do is check their references, compare quotes, look at past work. The best painting professionals invest in their business. They have insurance and maybe even a certification from the NACE International Institute or the Society for Protective Coatings. Local painter licensing requirements vary. Make sure the pro you hire has insurance and the license(s) required by your area.

How do I know you are licensed and insured?
We can provide copies of insurance. (In Texas you do not need to be licensed)
Can I leave my home while your painting crew works?
If you need to leave your home or prefer to leave home while we work you sure can, we can lock up when we are done for the day.
Do you have references?
We can provide several references if needed or requested. We also have tons of testimonials on our website for you to scroll through.
Do you have examples of work you've completed?
We have current photos on our website and upload content on all our social media pages.
What kind of paint do you use?
We prefer Sherwin Williams or Kelly-Moore paints but we can use any brand the customer prefers.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 3 year limited warranty for any bubbling or peeling.
What is the best season to paint?
We can paint during any season but typically spring and summer are when we paint most exterior projects. Interior projects are all year round.
What can I do to make the project go more smoothly?
For interior jobs, have all small items and personal belongings removed. For exterior projects, all big items removed from home and pets secured.
Who will be there to answer my questions or to address any concerns I may have throughout the project?
Jason Chacon is the project manager and owner who will assist you throughout process.
Do you charge for estimates?
All estimates are free of charge.
How do you determine the amount you will charge for my painting project?
Each project is different and all our estimates are itemized. This can vary based on project size, material costs and timelines.
What do we do if you find dry rot?
Any issues discovered upon estimate process will be addressed; Any issues while project is ongoing will be addressed and may require to change order.
How long will it take to paint my house?
Each house is different depending on size and scope of work.
What hours do your crews work?
We work 9am until 6pm typically and weekends if needed.
How will my personal property be protected from paint?
We cover and protect all items in home; We do ask that all small items be removed to make easier for our crews.
What color should I choose?
Jason can assist in this process or we can set you up with a color advisor through Sherwin Williams at no additional cost.
What are different paint sheens?
There is 5 to 6 different sheens and we have our recommendations but we can use any sheen preferred. Our trained specialist will guide you in this process.
When do I pay you?
We require a 50% down payment to start the project and rest of payment upon completion project. Before final payment we will walk project together to make sure customer is 100% happy and look for any discrepancies. Touch ups will occur before final payment as well.
